About KomosOccasions

In a business where one wrong detail becomes a reputation, software should make you look prepared, and never guess on your behalf.

That is the belief underneath KomosOccasions. Planners stake their name on details other people never see: the arrival time, the contract term, the dietary note. The tool that holds those details should be exact, calm, and honest about what it does not know.

The situation it answers

The moment this is built for

It is 6pm at a vineyard, an hour past the last cell tower. A planner is running a wedding for 120 guests on her feet. The caterer wants the final vegan count. The band wants its call time. The father of the bride is asking who is driving the cars.

Every answer exists. She wrote them all down. They are in an email, a spreadsheet tab, and a text from three weeks ago, and none of it will load out there.

A marquee half set for an event, rows of timber chairs being placed against soft draped fabric in warm daylight.
Two event planners working side by side at a laptop in a bright studio, reviewing details together.

The response

So I built the opposite of a billing funnel.

I am Lindsay Edwards, a solo builder working out of the Modus Future studio in Australia. I built KomosOccasions multi-tenant from the very first line, with database-level isolation and a cross-tenant test that runs on every build, so one studio can never see another's clients.

It holds every event and every supplier in one backbone. Its AI turns a client conversation into structured event details, then waits for a human to confirm each one. There is an offline event-day mode for exactly the vineyard with no signal.

The audience

Who it is for

KomosOccasions is for Australian planning studios and agencies running 10 to 20 events at once, across weddings, corporate events, and parties. It is also for the solo and boutique planners outgrowing spreadsheets, inboxes, and a CRM that only knows how to invoice a client.

The stage

Where we are

KomosOccasions is pre-launch. It is built multi-tenant, it launches as a single tenant, and there are no live customers or revenue yet. That is stated plainly here, because the product's whole promise is that it does not overclaim.
