FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Fit, process, price, timeline, and risk, in the order planners actually ask them.

Who is KomosOccasions for?

It is for professional event and occasion planning studios in Australia running 10 to 20 events at once, across weddings, corporate events, and parties. It also fits solo and boutique planners outgrowing spreadsheets, inboxes, and a CRM built only to invoice clients.

If you coordinate many vendors across many events, it is built for you.

How is this different from a wedding CRM like Aisle Planner, or a generalist like HoneyBook or Dubsado?

Those tools are wedding-first and US-first, or generalist and organised around billing the client. KomosOccasions is built around the supplier backbone, spans all occasions rather than weddings only, and every environment it runs in is pinned to an Australian region (Sydney).

It is a daily operations tool for running many events, not just a contracts and booking funnel.

What does the AI actually do?

It turns a recorded client conversation into structured event details: dates, guest notes, dietary requirements, and vendor mentions, laid out for you to review.

It does not act on its own. The AI drafts and suggests, and every detail waits for you to confirm it before it becomes part of the event.

Will the AI ever change something without my say-so?

No. That is a hard product rule, not a setting. AI output is always a suggestion a human deliberately confirms.

In event work, a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer, so the confirm step is built in and cannot be skipped by the AI.

Is my clients' data safe from other studios using the tool?

Yes. KomosOccasions is multi-tenant with Postgres row-level security, so each business is isolated at the database level.

An automated cross-tenant isolation test proves one studio can never see another’s client data, and it runs on every build.

Does it work at a venue with no signal?

Yes. There is an offline-capable, one-handed event-day mode that keeps your run-of-show on your phone. You can read back arrival times, call times, and notes with no signal, and it syncs when you are back online.

It is built for exactly the vineyard an hour past the last cell tower.

Can I use it for corporate events and parties, or only weddings?

All of them. KomosOccasions spans weddings, corporate events, and parties in the same backbone.

It is built for an Australian studio doing a corporate launch on Tuesday and a 200-person party on Friday, not just weekend weddings.

What does it cost?

You can start a 14-day free trial with no credit card. There is no public price for what comes after it yet, and we will not quote a number that is not real.

When the pricing is decided it will be published here before anyone is asked to pay it.

Why should I trust a pre-launch tool with my events?

Because we tell you exactly where we are. KomosOccasions is pre-launch, built multi-tenant, launching as a single tenant, with no live customers or revenue yet.

What exists is real and shown in a demo: the confirm-first AI, the database-level isolation, and the offline event-day mode. We would rather say that plainly than claim a customer count we do not have.

How do I get started, and when can I use it?

Start the free 14-day trial and use it on a real event. No credit card, and nothing to schedule. If you would rather be walked through it first, book a demo instead.

What happens at the end of the 14 days is not settled yet, so we are not going to tell you it converts, extends, or opens into a cohort until that is decided.
